Softball Registration and Clinics

February 22nd from 9-11am
February 24th from 6:30-8pm
March 2nd from 1:30-3pm.  This is also the day for tryouts if you would like to move up a league.  Please be there before 3 pm.
We have added another registration date at the YMCA for March 9th from 1:30-3pm at the YMCA. You have until March 10th to register and pay the regular fee.  After that, it will go up in price.  Again, last date you can postmark a registration form is March 15th.  You may send them to Registrar, NGSA, PO Box 1341, Newton, IA  50208

Please go through your closets, ball bags, etc to see if you have equipment your child might not be using or has outgrown for the year. We really want to make softball affordable for everyone, so if you are willing to sell items inexpensively or to give, please post here. We want this to be an option every year for our old and new players.

If you haven't thrown a ball all winter and want to have some fun come join us, we have 3 more clinics set up.  Bring a friend and lets practice some softball.

Never played before, it's never to late!

February 24th @ TJ for K-3
March 4th @ TJ for 4-8th
April 17th@ TJ for All players 6-7:30pm
If we are able to get outside, we will try to set up some other dates to have some practice/clinic times.  We will let you know as we get closer to spring.

We will also have registration forms available during the clinics. You can sign up right now on our website.

It's about time for softball season again.  Registration is right around the corner so watch for forms to come home from school soon.

NGSA is on Facebook under Newton Girls Softball Association.  Follow there to keep updated on the most recent information or ask questions.

If you know of any businesses wanting to sponsor a team or purchase a field sign please have them get in contact with a board member.  The more sponsors we have the lower we can keep the fees for all the girls wanting to play. You can also an email to newtongsa@gmail.com with questions or potential sponsors.

We will have SNAG-IT again this year and are looking for more ways to get the word out and more kids involved.  Please contact a board member if you have ideas.

NGSA board is always looking for more poeple to join the board.  If your interested or just want to see how things are ran please let us know.
